SHIPPING POLICY

General Information​

  • Almost every item in our catalogue is made to order and usually take 2 business days to craft. Crafting/manufacturing time can on occasion take up to 5-10 business days.

  • The estimated delivery time is from the date the order has shipped, not necessarily the date of the order. 

  • Business days do not include weekends or UK public holidays.

  • There may be a delay of up to 2-4 business days during our sale periods.

  • All orders from outside of the UK may incur charges due to local duties and taxes. Simply Sev is not responsible for any additional fees (other than import duty and VAT), restricted items, or delays in delivery due to these circumstances. If you have any queries or concerns about this, please contact us before placing your order.

  • Once your order has been placed online, you will only have a limited window to amend or cancel your order.

 

By signing in to the My Account page you can:

  • Amend your order​

  • Change your delivery address

  • Change your shipping method​

  • Once your order has shipped, you will receive tracking details via email.

Please note that due to COVID-19, online orders are being dispatched but they may take a little longer than usual. We will continue to do our very best to deliver orders as swiftly as possible using the most efficient and safe method of delivery as possible. Our parcels are predominantly dispatched by DPD within the UK, and UPS within Europe and Worldwide.

DELIVERY

Each item on the website has a delivery timescale listed but if you require an item to be delivered sooner, or by a specific date, please call +44 (0)20 3685 9483 or email sales@simplysevjewellery.com and we will do our best to fulfil your requirements. 

Please note that some gold or bespoke jewellery may take up to 6 weeks for delivery.

 

 
SHIPPING CHARGES:

 

UK: FREE

 

By DPD. Your parcel should arrive on the next working day after the dispatch date. This is an insured and trackable service and a signature will be required on delivery of your parcel. If your order is urgent, please email sales@simplysevjewellery.com, as next day delivery might be possible.

Europe: FREE shipping for orders over £350. £30 shipping fee applies for orders under £350. 

PLEASE NOTE: From January 1st 2021, the following changes will apply to goods shipped from the UK to countries within the EU:

  • We will no longer be required to collect VAT on orders purchased for delivery to the EU. However, in the interest of a smooth shipping experience for our customers, we will collect the rate of VAT set within the destination country and pay this on your behalf to your country's border agency. This means that you should expect your order to be delivered directly to you without extra delays at your country's border agency.

Via courier (DHL/DPD/UPS). Your parcel should arrive within 3-5 working days from the dispatch date (subject to customs clearance). This is an insured and trackable service. A signature will be required on delivery of your parcel and you may be required to supply ID for customs clearance purposes such as your tax code or social security number. Any additional customs import duty charges or brokerage fees assessed by customs will be the responsibility of the recipient.

UK VAT will not be charged on items shipped outside the UK.

Worldwide: FREE shipping for orders over £350. £30 shipping fee applies for orders under £350.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

All items purchased via the website may be returned for a refund or exchange within 28 days of receipt.​

When jewellery has been made to specific requirements or is a bespoke commission, we cannot offer refunds unless the item is faulty.

For hygiene reasons, we are not able to accept returns on earrings unless they are faulty.

 

Should you receive a faulty or damaged item, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt.

 

When ordering rings, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they have ordered the correct size. A ring ordered in the incorrect size can be re-sized, but this may be subject to a charge.

 

To arrange a return for an item, please email sales@simplysevjewellery.com or call us on +44 (0)20 3685 9483 quoting your name and address, details of the product, the reason for return and whether you require a refund or replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed.

The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. We cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit.

 

If you are returning an item to us for a refund or an exchange, the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Your original postage costs will not be refunded unless the item you received was sent in error or is faulty (provided we are notified of faults within 48 hours of receipt).

 

All returned items must be returned unworn and in their original box. We will not exchange goods that have been worn, do not have their original packaging or show or are damaged in any way. In this instance, the goods will be returned to the buyer at their own cost.

 

In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued by the same method that you paid within 28 days of receipt of the return.
